Regulatory & Legal Services

MSC provides regulatory consulting to foreign companies for general market research and market-entry assessment, focusing on regulatory orientation, licensing frameworks, and compliance considerations relevant to doing business in Vietnam.

Legal issues are addressed exclusively by licensed lawyers. Where legal questions arise, MSC facilitates engagement with licensed local lawyers / attorneys who may provide legal advice aimed at clarifying issues and mitigating legal risk.

Where formal legal action is required, such as the issuance of attorney’s letters, such actions are undertaken solely by licensed local attorneys. This may include attorney’s letters issued for limited and non-litigious purposes, including formal demands, warnings, evidence preservation notices, and negotiation initiators. MSC provides coordination and regulatory support in connection with such engagements.

Representation before Vietnamese courts or arbitration bodies is generally not recommended in the context of ordinary business relationships. However, where litigation or arbitration becomes unavoidable, licensed local attorneys may represent clients, with MSC providing coordination and regulatory support as appropriate.
